Brno – venues and partners
One world festival’s Brno event is taking place in the Art cinema, Břetislav Bakala’s Hall, Lužánky Lesiure time center, Starý pivovar cultural centre, Tro3jka café, and the Fléda club.You will be able to visit movie projections in these places as well as concerts, expositions and debates.

Organizers: People in need NGO, in co-operation with the Lužánky leisure time center, Brno Cultural Center, VUT (technical university) consultancy center Přes bloky, Starý Pivovar cultural center, Tro3jka café, and the Fléda club.
Art Cinema has been in business since the 1920s. Hosting sophisticated and artistic programs is a part of the cinema’s traditions. Brno film club worked in the cinema for several years. After a reconstruction in 1990, the cinema returned into service. Presentations for students, festivals and parades take place here regularly.
Lužánky leisure time center is the regional facility arranging spare time activities for people of all ages and social groups. It is the oldest and largest facility of its kind in the Czech republic. It is organizing school projections and special shows for elementary and high schools for the One world festival. It is also a patron of the festival.
Břetislav Bakala Hall is a building used mainly for hosting festival displays by the Cultural center of Brno: European cinema days, Tmavomodrý festival (Deep Blue Festival), Brněnská šestnáctka, etc. It is used for educational concerts, and concerts in general as well.
Starý Pivovar is a student cultural center of VUT (Technical university) in Brno. A gallery, a club, and a multimedia hall can be found in a remarkably well reconstructed area of a brewery. It focuses on alternative projects presenting various kinds of contemporary art.
Tro3jka Café in the House of Lords of Kunštát focuses on Brno’s alternative and independent culture, mainly of student composition. The coffee lounge has a gallery hall as well. Both places are used for hosting expositions, concerts, lectures, drama pieces, movie screenings, etc.
Fléda Club – film and music club.
