Everything Needs to Live

(Wszystko ma zyc)

Even as a child Anna Kurkurina loved animals, later working in zoos, promoting animal rights and founding shelters. At 40, she took up weight training with similar vigour. She became a multiple world champion in the power triathlon and coached people with physical disabilities.

Even after Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine began her activities didn’t diminish. Rather, she used the influence of social networks to start a project to help animals threatened by war. This documentary portrait follows the charismatic woman who has exceptional physical strength and empathy as she struggles daily to make the world at least a little more sensitive to all living things.
