Low wages, constant supervision, depersonalisation and social isolation are the daily reality of thousands of migrants working in Western Europe. Portuguese Aurora, a warehouse worker in Edinburgh, is one of them. The monotonous work between endless shelves, the quotas and the impossibility of finding an escape from the system are gradually taking their toll on her psyche.

Through Aurora’s eyes, we see how her working life overlaps her private one, and how even fulfilling basic needs becomes a difficult challenge. This debut social drama turns a small excerpt from her life into an intense probe into contemporary capitalist society.
