What is at first glance a small sailboat houses a fairly large family of ecological researchers, who, 20 years ago decided to leave solid ground and live their lives on the waves of freedom.

The aim of their family expedition is to conduct field research in remote ocean areas, from the North Pole to South American waters. All their mainland stops are associated with educating the younger generation through collective clean-up campaigns, workshops, and school lectures.

What started as a journey of two people, seems unsustainable as the number and ages of the teenage crew members increase. In addition to ecological aspects, the travel documentary about an inspiring step out of the comfort zone also introduces the pressing topic of responsibility and freedom.
