One World Festival for the first time in Vlašim

Highlight
Vlašim will join the map of the international human rights film festival One World for the first time.

The local organizer is the Charity Vlašim, who has been regularly screening human rights documentaries as part of her Film Club for almost three years. 27th edition of the International Human Rights Film Festival One World will take place in the Zahrada Community Center from March 15 to 17, 2025 and continue from March 18 to April 11, 2025 with sixteen screenings for younger and older school children and high school students with their teachers.

Every year, One World presents Czech and foreign films about human rights and their violations. It brings authentic stories and new points of view on the given topic. In the past, the festival was dedicated to, for example, racism, ecology, equality, poverty, totalitarianism, bullying or digital technologies.

After each film, we will have a post-film debate prepared for you with guests who understand the given topic, and of course you will be able to ask them whatever interests you.

These days, our team is busy with the selection of films and discussants. We will share news details on our website, FB and IG. We are honored to be part of this unique and prestigious event of its kind, along with 56 other Czech cities. We strongly hope that this event will attract as many people as possible and become a stable of the local cultural menu.
