Katarzyna Batko-Tołuć
Katarzyna Batko-Tołuć is the Program Director of the Citizens Network Watchdog Poland. She co-founded a grassroots social movement that engages around 1,000 people and focuses on transparency in governance, accountability of power, and freedom of speech.
She advocates for better regulations in these areas and actively participates in public debates by writing her own analyses and contributing to media outlets.
Katarzyna also participates in common initiatives of Polish civil society. She also co-led the mobilisation of civil society organisations for the parliamentary elections in 2023.
Additionally, she is a member of social innovators group - Ashoka, and a recipient of the POLCUL Foundation's award given by Polonia. She is also an alumna of the Recharging Advocacy for Rights in Europe course.
